On August 23rd, the 115th Anniversary Celebration of the Southern California Gifu Kenjinkai will be held in Montebello, California, where aile will perform the national anthems of Japanese and United States.

The Southern California Gifu Kenjinkai is an organization composed of individuals with ties to Gifu Prefecture residing in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas in Southern California, USA. Since its establishment in 1911, it is marking its 115th anniversary this year, 2026.
To commemorate this 115th-anniversary milestone, the celebration will feature the participation of members with roots in Gifu Prefecture, as well as esteemed guests with deep ties to Gifu from both within the United States and Japan, along with various events and programs.
