岐阜県出身。2002年、BMG JAPANよりメジャーデビュー。
2枚のアルバムと3枚のシングルを発表。2004年に単身渡米。
NYハーレムでブラックミュージックとその文化を吸収し、
ロサンゼルスの音楽大学にて、スキャットを含むジャズボーカルや音楽理論を学ぶ。
その後様々なミュージシャンたちとデモ制作、ジャムセッションを行う傍ら、
オリジナルの楽曲制作にも精力的に打ち込み、自身の音楽性を深めていった。
2015年、体調不良と妊娠が同時に判明し、一時活動休止。
2021年、リンパ節転移を伴うステージIII乳がんが発覚。
左胸全摘、抗がん剤治療、放射線治療を経て、現在はホルモン治療中。
闘病中に“生きる意味”と“音楽の力”を深く見つめ直し、
同じように困難と向き合う人の希望になりたいと強く願うようになる。
そして翌年6月、Rising Japan Music Fest 出演を機に音楽活動を再開。
以降、Cedars-Sinai、成人式、ユタ州Nihon Matsuri、
Grassroots JUDO Winter Nationals、乳がん支援柔道大会など、
数々の公式イベントで日米両国の国歌独唱を務める。
2024年10月に発表した、ALSで旅立った青年に捧げた
「命をかさねて」は、Japan Film Festival 2025の公式テーマソングに起用され、
映画祭のウェルカムパーティにてライブで披露した。
2025年8月、10年ぶりとなるソロコンサート“My Calling”を成功させた。
2025年11月、米国アート支援NPO
Fractured Atlas の Fiscal Sponsorshipに正式承認。
社会的価値ある文化活動として高く評価された。
2025年12月より、故郷・岐阜の子どもたちへ向けた
オンライン教育プロジェクト「GiNX」の講師を務める。
音楽が誰かの心にそっと寄り添うことを願い、その声を未来へ届け続けている。

Singer/Songwriter
Born in Gifu, Japan. She made her major debut with BMG JAPAN in 2002, releasing two albums and three singles.
In 2004, she moved to the United States alone. She immersed herself in Black music and culture in Harlem, NY,
and later studied Jazz vocals—including scat—and music theory at a music college in Los Angeles.
During this time, she collaborated with various musicians through demo production and jam sessions,
while actively developing her original compositions and deepening her musical identity.
In 2015, health issues and pregnancy led her to step away from music.
In 2021, she was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer with lymph node metastasis.
After undergoing a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation—and continuing hormone therapy—
she spent her treatment period reflecting deeply on the meaning of life and the power of music.
Wishing to become a source of hope for those facing hardship, she returned to the stage in June of the following year,
beginning with her appearance at the Rising Japan Music Fest.
Since then, she has performed the national anthems of both Japan and the United States at numerous official events,
including Cedars-Sinai, Coming of Age ceremonies, Utah Nihon Matsuri, Grassroots Judo Winter Nationals,
and breast cancer charity judo tournaments.
Released in October 2024, “Inochi wo Kasanete,” a song dedicated to a young man who passed away from ALS,
was selected as the official theme song of Japan Film Festival 2025, where she performed it live at the festival’s Welcome Party.
In August 2025, she held her first solo concert in ten years, “My Calling”, to great success.
In November 2025, she received Fiscal Sponsorship approval from Fractured Atlas,
a major U.S. nonprofit supporting the arts—recognition of the cultural and social value of her work.
Beginning December 2025, she will serve as an instructor for “GiNX,” an online educational project
supporting children in her hometown of Gifu.
She continues to sing with the hope that her music may gently accompany someone’s heart and carry her voice into the future.
